What The Voice Taught Me About Life Coaching

If you’ve ever watched The Voice, you know there’s something so powerful about seeing someone step onto that stage and share their voice—sometimes nervously, sometimes boldly—and then watching the coaches light up when they hear potential.

It recently hit me that a life coach is a lot like one of those coaches on The Voice.

When you work with a life coach, you already have the raw talent—the voice, the potential, the ability to create a life that feels good and true to you. My job as your coach isn’t to give you a new voice—it’s to help you hear your own more clearly.

Like a voice coach, I listen closely. I help you notice where you might be holding back, overthinking, or trying to please the crowd instead of singing your own song. I offer tools, gentle tweaks, and new ways of approaching things so you can show up with more confidence and authenticity.

And just like on The Voice, I’m cheering you on from the sidelines as you take risks, try new things, and find your rhythm. Because the best part of this process is watching you start to trust yourself—to stop waiting for someone else’s approval and start singing your own truth.

So if you’ve ever wondered what a life coach does, think of it like this:
You’re the artist.
Your life is the song.
And I’m here to help you make it your own.

If you’re ready to stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your own voice, I’d love to be your coach. You can learn more about working with me or download my free guide, “Intro to Recovering from People-Pleasing,” to begin your journey.
